Before the shearing began, she is excited to get it cut very, very short!
Half of her head was done!
What a beautiful head and Bonnie loves it!
And a great hat to finish the look!
Yesterday Bonnie saw Dr Inhorn again yesterday and he is very pleased with how well she is doing in her treatment. Of course her white blood count is low which is expected and he is confident it will be back at a good level for next weeks chemo treatment.
So in the mean time Bonnie is cautious of germy things and is installing Purell hand sanitizer dispensers in the store for everyone to use. As we all know money is a huge carrier of germs (Bonnie heard on TV that swine flu can live on money for two weeks) so Bonnie is trying to be even more mindful of washing hands/sanitizing after handling.
Bonnie is looking forward to a busy weekend with terrific weather and lots of fun before her next treatment on Tuesday.......until then.

Bonnie, we are so inspired by your motivation! Can't wait to see you!
ReplyDeleteLove the new look Bonnie. I had just started to read your blog for the first time when you called a few minutes ago. I didn't even know you had a blog...I usually just go to the "order online" spot which I still find so amazing.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, you are in my prayers. You are a strong and good person who will beat this beast.
If you come down to deliver the food tomorrow keep your distance from me as I've been battling some kind of virus these past few days. I'll blow you a kiss from afar!
Bonnie, you look great with the new hair style!! Kind of hip looking :0)
ReplyDeleteSo happy that you are doing okay even through this tough time and keeping a smile. “It is our attitude at the beginning of a difficult undertaking which, more than anything else, will determine its successful outcome.” – William James
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
